Nikon EM, APX 100, 35mm
The Strangers Into Citizens rally was held in Trafalgar Square on May 7th, where immigrants were protesting for the rights of refugees and, well, immigrants.
This is quite possibly the wettest protest I’ve been to, and it makes picture-taking a tad awkward. My 350D has endured the monsoon rains of India and come out alive, but the EM is a little more fragile, to say the least!
This man was at the rally, randomly dancing around with some kind of sword, which he almost whacked a few people with.
From the same rainy day
Not really a day for deck chairs
I think they were trying to watch the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace, although it wasn’t really the best view for it
People queuing to catch a glimpse of celebrities at the BAFTAs. I’m not sure how long they’d been queuing for – waste of time in my opinion!
On the other side of the street
Another one to add to the collection
Near Victoria station a man was randomly walking around with a python, as you do. London is full of randomness.
Unfortunately ISO 100 was a little too slow in this instance :/
There was also a veteran’s gathering happening nearby
This one had fought in the Korean War and WW2 – very impressive
Random shot outside the Apollo Theatre on Shaftsbury Avenue
Lastly, a random shot in Camden
